Finally managed to get a +SPD/-HP Cordelia, so I think I’ll give her a firesweep build. I’m just wondering whether to give her Swift Sparrow or Life and Death.
I do have a spare Brave Lyn so it would be cheaper to give her Swift Sparrow...
I’d say do life and death, the extra point of speed and attack mean a lot more in an all or nothing build like you have in a firesweep build. Cordelia would not be meant for enemy phase whatsoever, so although using swift sparrow would keep her bulk intact, it shouldn’t matter when she probably would die in enemy phase if attacked.
Go ahead and give her swift sparrow. I personally use LaD on mine (same ivs) for the little extra firepower since firesweep cordelia doesn't have an enemy phase anyways, but swift sparrow does preserve her defenses in the rare cases you need her to tank something. It also gives a tiny bit more arena score (240 sp vs 200 sp).

Common enemies who can kill Cordelia with LnD will kill her with Swift Sparrow. Not sure what all the preserving bulk theories are coming from. You have no reason to use Swift Sparrow over LnD. Much less expending a 5* exclusive skill.
Just use 20k feather to give LnD. If you don't want to use feather, use Death Blow. Save your Swift Sparrow for someone who actually needs it.

Now, above is assuming you are facing equal opponents. ie. either you don't do arena/AA or your Cordelia is going to be heavily merged. Because if not, in what context are you building your Cordelia for? LnD + Firesweep is a solid build. But that's 40k feather. That should be for a good reason? 43 Spd is not going to net you double all that much if you face +10 enemies with +0 merge Cordelia. And that will be precisely the case in AA for a bench hero and commonly the case in the most difficult PvE maps. If you are thinking of using Cordelia for scoring, a flier doesn't score well without heavy merges. So that should also be out of the question.
If she is not being heavily merged, +Spd or not, why don't you just stick with Brave Lance, get Death Blow from Klein and spend nothing else?
