Sing+

The fact that sing/dance is a 150 SP skill really hurts using dancers so do you guys suspect we will get a sing/dance+ (400sp pls)
IF so how will it work?
I have 3 ideas
It lets the danced unit have 2 extra actions (pls not this)
It lets the danced unit and other units adjacent to them act again (pls not that either)
It works a rally and a sing/dance at the same time Like PA Azura's weapon.

Well dancers are supposed to hurt ur score in the first place. So leaving them with the sp handicap in a meta where duel skills exist seems fair imo.

Honestly the only thing I can see them doing is probably letting the unit move 1 extra space, so Armored 2 spaces, Inf. Flier 3, Cav. 4

But a 4 space move on Cav sounds like Cancer

The most that can be done while not breaking the game imo....is if sing lowers the special cooldown by one till the end of the player/enemy phase. That way u get a lil extra power from sing but cant spam sing to get aethers/specials ready.

Cant really do stat boosts bec the stat dances and weapons already exist.

Most effects already end "on players next turn".

So it leaves very little to improve them

O good god I hope we never see this. There aren't many things that they could add to this game that would truly break it but I suspect this would be one of them.

Honestly the first 2 thoughts are honestly worst cases, id say IS would never do that but with Future Vision being a thing i can't rule them out, but i see no problem with the 3rd one

The third one is plausible but we already have skills in the game that coincide with dance/sing i'd rather they continued to expand on that. Certainly possible that we see a spectrum B skill version of this.

If anything, a dance/sing that impacts both the user and the target, but the user can't dance anyone again. At least to me it doesn't sound broken but who knows what it can lead to lol

Legendary Lucina already has something like that, doesn't she? That move that is a move assist skill but also Galeforce? I think if they were going to do a Sing+ type thing, letting the singer/dancer do an additional move that wasn't another sing/dance would probably make the most sense.

Maybe a self rally? Instead of buffing the target, the dancer itself gets buffed through singing an ally.

I feel that if IS does that...it must be a non-inheritable skill. I think it will refresh more than one ally (skill-permitting). So far, unless if I'm missing someone, only the Tellian herons had that feature in their game: one of them has to shift in order to sing to multiple allies, one of them can sing to all adjacent allies but is treated as an infantry as he was flightless, and one of them can sing to two allies on opposite sides of her. Out of those, I hope the last one is adapted.

Every other performer in the series in their games? One at a time!

Report

Sing/Dance is already non-inheritable. Any unit that can use it already has it, and it can't be given to anyone who can't use it. I don't see any reason to make it locked to one specific singer/dancer, though.

Report

Maybe make it effect allies adjacent to the refresher like in the older games?
