How does it work exactly when the buffs are on separate units? For example, L! Robin would have Def and Res Tactics buff and L'Arachel having Atk Tactics buff, would she get both as in-combat stat boosts or just from one of them?

She gets +6 as in-combat boosts to Atk, Def, and Res since those are the highest values of each visible buff across all your allies assuming she is within range of them. (Nothing goes to Spd because no one on the team received a visible Spd buff.)

If she is in range, she gains the same visible buffs that other allies that. Each stat is calculated separately.

Example 1: If L'Arachel had Def Tactic buff and L!Robin had Hone Atk buff, Eirika would gain +6 Def and +4 Atk in combat. All 4 stats can be buffed this way, but only the highest buff number applies.
Example 2: If L'Arachel had Def Tactic buff and L!Robin had Fortify Def buff, Eirika would gain +6, from Def Tactic, as that one is the higher stat.
