Shout-out to whoever built this Morgan

Since she's been added to the game, I've encountered plenty of mediocre blade tome F!Morgans and shaken my head at most of them. But I fought this in the arena today, and she's like a breath of fresh air. I love a good res tank, but this is a whole new level. She was on a team with Caeda, so with a Fortify buff she'd reach 55 res on enemy phase. I think I'm in love.

I prefer using Morgan as a mage tank rather than a Bladetome unit. Much more fun that way.

Right? Personally I think blade tomes are pretty overrated on slower units, and it's much more satisfying to play to their actual strengths.

I'm thinking of the same build, except that she's gonna be a mixed tank for both melee and ranged (CC required obviously). That being said, I haven't found a way to make her "physically" tanky yet, so Ill probably post it here out of joy when I do.XD

Yeah personally I hate it when people just slap a blade tome or a firesweep/brave weapon on to characters and call it a day. Sure it works but it's so unoriginal and there's so many other ways to build up units. Most of the time I end up using the weapons that a character comes with anyway since the character will probably get their own personal weapon at some point anyway.

Yeah, ditto. Personally I don't like playing with nothing but super-nukes, and most characters can get some pretty good use out of their original weapons. (There are, of course, exceptions to this. *coughlegendaryRyomacough*)

I have a Bladetome on her but I use both weapons depending on the team I have her on. Tempest Trials I tend to run Blade because of high HP count on enemies, but if I'm using her for Arena or something I'll use Serpent.

Makes sense. Morgan's not the worst blade tome user, and with enough buffs and the right build I'd say she can be pretty decent at it, but I've seen a lot of not-good builds recently. Having the flexibility to run either blade or serpent sounds like a good choice to me. ;)

This thread speaks to me. Not only do I love F Morgan and will think about this build as an option, but I also am tired of Bladetomes on everyone/everything. This post made my day.

Ah yes, I love unique builds. Anything that mixes things up from the meta. I'm actually a big fan of another unique build with my Corrin (F) that tears up any tome user, even those green dragon buster tome users. I built this Corrin thanks to a guide I found somewhere on YouTube. And the only things I really do is I'll swap out Sacred Cowl for Aether and Shield Pulse for Guard... I usually just sit it next to my Ninian with Fortify Dragons (I don't even have a Hone Dragon buffer) and Kana close by with Goad Dragons and just watch Corrin wreak havoc on teams. She's so much fun!
