I have pulled a Laevatein on the legendary banner, which is neat. I already have a fully invested Laevatein in my barracks, who happens to have the same IVs as the recently pulled one.
I'd like to know your personal view on if it is wiser tp merge her or use her as Even Spd Wave/Atk Def Link fodder. Thanks in advance!

You should probably wait for 3.0 before foddering or merging her!
Anyway, to reply to your question: do you have any units
that will benefit from Atk/Def Link or Spd Wave? Units that you use a lot and are willing to invest in? If yes, fodder her.
Do you use Laevatein a lot/plan on merging her one day? If yes, merge her.
Only a few units can make a full potential use of Link Skills, like Legendary Lucina and normal Eirika, if you are not giving the skill for one of these units, you should probably use her for merge, only if you are going to make her to +10, otherwhise, its not worth it, Odd Speed Wave can be used on a lot of units.
