Hi! Today I just summoned normal Hector on the scattered fangs banner, and I was wondering which version I should use, use both, or fodder one. My LA Hector is +spd -atk, which sucks, and my normal one is +spd -res, which isn't as bad. Thanks!
They both are pretty bad... with that IVs.
I have both, and I keep both but always use LAHector because I think he is better (his special just kill everything and he has better BST than the original one).
But I keep both because I think its good to save good units for maps and modes which need a lot of diferent untits.
I would try to train the LA Hector and if you dont need the other one, you can give his Distant Counter to some other units who can need it.
I'm sorry, I have to strongly disagree with the other answer. Both Hectors are phenomenally strong, even with "bad" ivs (there's a reason they're both rated tier 1*). In all honesty, the LA Hector IVs are pretty much the opposite of what you want, his speed is honestly unsalvageable and he often runs wary fighter (or bold/vengeful if you want to invest a lot), and his atk is pretty important. However, he's absolutely still strong and usable. For the normal Hector, I think those IVs are actually pretty good, (I have a spd+ def- hector that's carried me through the whole game since I started). Since his speed is a superboon to 28, that's absolutely salvageable (to the point of avoiding a lot of doubles) with buffs and/or summoner support. Unfortunately a res bane makes it pretty hard to tank a lot of magical foes (like nino and reinhardt), but he's still really strong (i recommend running distant def seal probably to patch that up).
