Should I Sacrifice Dancer Xander?

Everyone says that Close Counter would go great with my Halloween!Henry, but the only close counter fodder I have is Xander.

I don't really have plans for dance boi, but you never know. He's also limited.

But on the other hand, I am actively using Halloween!Henry and his build would be great for it.

What do you think?

Waste of resources.

You already sacrificed a Takumi for Xander. No point in sacrificing Xander for H!Henry when you can easily wait for a Takumi at some point.

I wouldn't fodder HS!Xander.

Edit: Reason why is because he's a physically bulky dancer that comes with a completely functioning base kit. Only thing you could argue that needs change is his dagger and even then he still functions good with his base dagger. Not to mention, trying to get just 1 copy of him on a rerun banner wouldn't be a good idea. H!Henry can wait a little.

Hmm, the guy's going to appear on a legendary banner within 3 months or 4 at the most. Do you want to wait or gamble? I wouldn't go foddering dancers in any hurry.

My Xander can withstand like any unit that aren’t mages or dragons. He also can take down a lot of units. But if you use Halloween Henry a lot, I don’t think it would be bad. He will appear on the legendary banner sometime soon.

Your 4* Takumi? Or did he already get foddered off?

Either way, I am pretty sure that last year's Winter units will be available again in December. That means Tharja with Close Counter and Vengeful Fighter. You could give Henry CC and VF2, which still has a 70% HP threshold, same as QR3. It would not be ideal in arena, but it would be workable for any PvE or Arena Assault usage.

Why would anyone ever recommend doing that? Like, you're literally going to kill off a unit to only give part of a skill? This isn't a 4 star we're talking about XD

I'd recommend doing it. If you barely use dancer boi, just do it. You won't miss him if he's unused and your Henry will appreciate the skill since he'll use it.

No. I am saying fodder off Winter Tharja for Close Counter and Vengeful Fighter 2. Close Counter is the skill he needs, vengeful fighter is just icing on the cake.

Of course you can feed him two tharjas if you feel you need VF3. But that is harder to come by than just one tharja. About twice as hard to come by. It's up to the player to do the cost benefit analysis if it's worth foddering two units for that extra 20% HP threshold.

Yes you're telling him to pull to get CC and half of a good skill, which he may not even get given that it's total rng. If he likes Henry so much just let him use it.

It'll find more use given that he wants to use Henry with said build.

Quick answer: NO.
The reason being that Takumi has never showed up on a legendary banner yet, and he is long overdue. He probably won't be on this month's legendary because of the new hero, but maybe in December or January. Since Xander is a good base unit (as opposed to Takumi), you better wait.
