Should I quit feh?

I failed to summon Winter Tharja during the winter banner and now I have failed to summon NY Azura. I didn't even get a NY banner unit :( I always snipe and I've done every thing I can to get orbs. Its been a very tough past 5 weeks.

...No.
There's no point in getting down about not getting what you want when the whole point of a gacha game is to gamble, and see if your CHANCE of getting a unit granted. You have a CHANCE of getting them back later on, not to mention the Anniversary event is coming up, so, again, no need to be so upset.

How do you think whales feel? A lot of people spend thousands and don't get ANYTHING they want, and they still come back for more (mostly because of gambling addiction, but still). It's really not anything to be upset over, just use 20k feathers to upgrade a unit to 5*. You don't NEED 5* exclusive units to do anything. While they're nice to have, whether for usage or for skill inheritance, it's not absolutely necessary, depending on the build.

limited units are cool and all
but they arent everything
they arent even the priority
since you ask others, you dont really want to quit
you just want a string of good luck
understandable
the anniversary is right around the corner
so right now isnt the time to quit
hang in there
itll be worth it

pfff 5 weeks, I went 10 without a single 5 star. Feels bad I know but just be patient your luck will pick up again, I know mine did.

Meh, now that we've seen limited units on the legendary banners, we know it's possible to get those units outside of the event banner.

Also, I've had way less luck JUST sniping than doing a full summon or two and THEN sniping. Got much better luck with that.

That is up to you.

Only you can make the final decision to quit or not. Don't ask us to decide what you should do next.

No. Because the newer unit will be better. So you won't even remember you wanted those units.

Don’t quit because your luck is not around right now. When the game first came out, I went multiple months after getting Spring Xander (who is garbage now but was actually pretty good for me when he came out) on consecutive occasions between summoning 5* units. Between the end of march and the middle of July, I pulled one 5* worth mentioning (Linde) in mid May before pulling an optimal IV Celica in mid July (exactly 15 weeks from my Spring Xander summon to my Celica summon). Sure, I also pulled a Faye with trash IVs and an Eldigan with also trash IVs, but I’d rather have solid fodder than trash IV 5* units.

Summoning isn’t everything. I’ve built units from the ground up and use them constantly. My flier emblem team has one 5* exclusive in Elincia, and the rest started as 4* and were projects I completed. If you don’t summon much on banners or don’t play often, that will kill your luck, because you will be summoning every time on a 3% chance of success. You need to either go big or stay home when you summon, even with F2P orbs. Don’t diversify your orbs, find a banner you like and go for it. Do every quest. All orbs offered are friends to you.

You aren't the only one to not get Winter Tharja (the only Winter unit I got was Lissa and I wanted at least a copy of all of them). But I kept at the game and I did manage to get all of the NY units (though all of them had bad banes except for Azura). It's all up to you, but don't get too down in the dumps about it. I don't plan to do much summoning until they come back via a Legendary Banner or something else. That's what I'd suggest.
