Should I pull or wait

So with the quest from today and the special maps, I was able to save 104 orbs. A few hours ago in twitter I saw a lot of people getting the two focus units: Ylgr and Surtr in less 50 orbs, probably less than that, the first time I saw the trailer of that banner I was like, haha that sucks I won’t be pulling, but now seeing that the rates are pretty good and the units are really good, I feel tempted, I was saving for the Christmas seasonal banner or maybe the legendary banner, but my question is, should I try on the fire and ice banner? Thanks for the advice

also, why are the "rates good" on this banner?
because some guy got lucky?

Its already been proven statistically that this banner gives better rates than even hero fest😐 so no.....its not just some lucky people

It's 3% for a focus unit to appear. There's only 2 focus units, so each has a 1.5% chance of appearing. On a 3 person banner it would be 1% each and on a 4 person, 0.75% each. So 1.5% is pretty good odds to get the unit you want to appear.

1.5% isn't the real practical chance because you snipe. Every time you go in to a session, you get 5 chances of the unit you want appearing but you only have to pay orbs for the ones that you know are the right colour. I don't know exactly how that maths works because it's more complicated but people have calculated it out. But simply if the odds of the focus unit you want appearing has gone up, and the odds of all the other units with that colour appearing has stayed the same, then the odds of that orb being the unit you want is higher.

I luckily got Ylgr on the free summon and Surtr in 40 orbs. I f I hadn't gotten them in like 60 orbs, I would've been scared. As far as I know, the next Legendary Hero is colorless, (maybe) and I would personally wait just to see. Since I had more orbs than you, I would say wait till the trailer comes out.

People smarter than me say it’s amazing odds compared to normal. I still can’t find out if it is better odds than legendary or not.

If you want either of them, it's a good idea to summon for them now because the sniping odds are better than normal. I think the average is somewhere around 60-70 orbs to get one. Don't expect both of them in less than 50, those people are lucky and there's unlucky people too, there was a guy saying he'd spent 500 orbs and not got either of them.

If you don't particularly want them, don't summon just because it's slightly better odds than normal. There's more good stuff coming up as you say: legendary banners, Christmas, who knows what will happen with 3.0. If you think there's likely to be stuff you want more than these two, save your orbs.
