Should I invest in B Roy?

I finally pulled a 5 star after 130 orbs, but I got Spd+ Hp- Brave Roy. Should I still build him since I already have built a 5 star Xander for my team. Thank you for reading this.

+Spd is really his best Boon. Give him Fury and he has 40 speed. Now that's some Desperation worthy speeds. 29 def and 27 resistance and even at -4 hp, the only way a 1 shot happens is with 63 physical power or 61 magical on red/colorless which isn't possible without strong buffs. You'll survive nearly anything and you can get easy Durandal triggers for Galeforce because you'll still have 54 attack unbuffed as well.

Absolutely. He plays very differently than Xander, who is a DC tank. B!Roy is more of a melee sweeper in the vein of Cherche, Frederick, Cordelia and Lucina. He pairs nicely with a blue tank (Clive is shockingly good at this as a FTP unit by the way, happy to share my build) and particularly with a dancer.

I built him with Earth Boost 3,Renewal 3, Swap and Threaten Attack 3, . He is absurdly tanky against physical units even without Cav buffs and is a great babysitter for BRoy. I haven't done specials yet but Bonfire/Ignis feels like an easy call. Maybe Sacred Cowl to give him a better chance at tanking the occasional magic attack, although there should probably just be a separate res tank.

This is not a unit I'd run in the arena (unless he's a bonus unit I suppose); but he can be a very good tank for a secondary or tertiary Cav team for assault / tempest trial content.

Yes! You should definitely invest in BRoy! BRoy has incredible offensive stats with a neutral 51 Atk and boon 37 Spd he can absolutely destroy an enemy team (including some Blue units) with ease because of his high Atk especially with fury 3 where he can reach 54 ATK AND 40 Spd. My BRoy which is an all neutral BRoy has 57 Atk, 39 Spd, 31 Def, and 29 Res (these stats are including Fury 3, Atk +1 Sacred Seal, And Summoner Support S Rank). So basically this BRoy can become a complete MONSTER if you build him correctly (especially with an Atk+ Res- Roy where he can reach 60 Atk with Fury 3, Summoner Support S Rank, and an Atk +1 Sacred Seal which is absolutely INSANE) so yeah invest in him you will not regret it and he will become your best Offensive Red unit.
