Should I go for Lyn or Hector on the Valentines banner?

If you get cockblocked by Lilina, then it's not really a bad thing since she's a pretty good unit statwise. Her speed is workable and can run Bladetome if you wanted to. Armored Boots, or whatever it's called, is apparently gonna be a Sacred Seal that allows an armored unit to move two spaces when at 100%(?) hp, so mobility isn't necessarily all that much of an issue if you have a lone armor unit on a team. If you're wanting Armor Emblem, Hector or Lyn can be really good. We have quite a few armored axe units, but Lyn is our blue armored mage.

We're getting an Eliwood for free, who's a blue armored lance, and you have BK, who's a red sword. So I recommend going for Hector to balance out the team colors. You can go Lyn since you don't have any armored mages yet, though, and armored mages are only seasonal (Henry, Tharja, Lyn).

Okay, since u don't have armored units overall, it really comes down to what you think would help you in the long run/overall.

The Lovely Lady of the Plains has come along wearing armored "gear" this time around, yet she still packs the same speed she always has. This time around she's extremely strong because she can counter both, Reinhardt, one of the most oppresive player phase units in the game, and her own Brave self, which is possible thanks to her personal weapon(Blue Gift removes buffs on units that use any ranged weapons). She is a great pick if u want to beat the meta and plan to make an armor team sooner rather than later/

Hector is , by far one of the stronger units in the game, as it has always been. The Berserker of Ostia is by far stronger than his past incarnation with Wrath built into his weapon(running QR3 in his B Slot nets him around 40 more kills than his precedessor).That being said, he can tank Reinhardt pretty well and has a good amount of usability in all content due to his ability to shrug off most blue and green damage and follow it up with a beating that they wont forget.

Overall, both are great units. I am going for Lyn since she completes my armor team, but as a whole, Hector remains one of the top tier units in my eyes and always will be. I would recommend, that if u don't have Hector, that you should go for him since he wins the overall, stronger unit vote for me. Good luck with the pulls dude, with Lilina in there you may just need it!

You have an entire month to roll for both so don't stress too much about it. Roll for both blue and green orbs and most likely you will end up getting at least one of them. Plus Lyn has armor march, which is the must need skill for an armor team.

I’d say sit back and relax for a while. This banner will be around for a whole month. Build your orbs, and then prioritize.

Do you ABSOLUTELY want to get shit on by hector’s shitty 30 base speed daughter? If so, then go for hector.

I would probably just snipe on both green and blue. You have a solid month to do so, and I'm guessing the next TT will also be this month so. Even more orbs
