Or should I merge Dorcas?

if you are not willing to fooder anyone for a breath skill (steady, warding and fierce) then that is the second best option. he appreciates stat boosts on both of those stats and it has synergy with VF. breath skills are still better for him but thats good too

It's a good idea, but I wouldn't do it.

I'm strongly of the opinion that the hack'o'lantern is a far superior option to sturdy stance for fodder. Guard with no HP requirement is incredible, and on a weapon, so that it combines with QR!

I second this.

The guard effect is in my opinion the best effect on a regulair weapon. Many annoying units use their special to do the real damage. And the Hack o' Lantern works without the need for hp.

Compair that to 4 atk/def in the enemy phase. Sure, a nice boost. But it's not a gamechanger.

Also Sturdy Stance is already on a unit.
Were as Hack o' Lantern is only on H.Dorcas, and we probably won't see another version of him for a while when he comes back in a TT with a bunch of other TT units like they did last time
