Should I give Kana(M) Steady Breath?

So here’s the deal, guys. I like Kana(M). His natural A passive is alright, don’t get me wrong, but I feel that he could do better. The issue is, my friends, that Steady Breath is currently on my Corrin(F). She’s +Def -Atk, and is currently utilizing a Windsweep build. While she’s faster than her beautiful baby boy, his player phase potential far surpasses her’s. Steady Breath in conjunction with Water Breath, a Def Weapon Refine, Steady Breath, and a S in Summoner Support, his Def clocks out at 47 on enemy phase. With Ignis, his mother has so far become an almost indestructible nuke on my enemy’s turn. Should I provide Kana the tools to be the same?

Personally I run DC on both of them with their inherent breaths because I like having the counter (my F!Corrin is also +Spd/-Hp and runs Luna) and I find they both perform remarkably well on teams that offer general Defensive support. They die very rarely if I mess up when moving them (like if I put them in the wrong square) so personally I wouldn't run Steady Breath just because it doesn't suit my teams needs and I find my Corrin and Kana almost never die.

I wouldn't fodder the SB Corrin to her son, she can be merged to +10, the lad can't. You can also find her IVs with a bit better bane quite easily.

Of course, if you really want to use the boy instead, you can always pull more Corrins and B!Ikes.
