Should I fodder off Hector for B!Ephraim?

Ever since I have goten Hector, he has been sitting in my barracks ever since. Even though he's +Atk and -HP I have never found a proper way to use him in an armor emblem team. He can't fulfil the role as a tanky axe as good as my W!Lissa does, which is unfortunate.
I eventually summoned B!Ephraim with +Def -Spd. In comparison to Hector, he trades 1 point from speed and a bit of HP to be better than Hector in raw power and defensively.
But in the end, is it really worth it to fodder off a Hector for Distant Counter? Any help would be appreciated.

Short answer: yes. Read the post right before yours as well, which is asking pretty much the exact same question as you are. B!Ephraim is definitely stronger than OG Hector in my opinion, and to make Hector even compete you would probably want to give him your W!Lissa. :(

+Def -Spd is a great IV. However, it is not optimal for Arena Scoring because of the superbane in spd, so it might not be worth it to give him Distant Counter, since I don't think (don't quote me on this) will raise his score by any more than Close Def would. His native Close Def will also work really nicely if Distant Counter is too premium for you, since there are a million other units to give DC to as well.
