Should i feel slighted by the addition of manuals?

I've a total room for 750 units, so i've expanded my barracks quite a bit and i know there are ppl who've invested even more into expanding barracks

with the addition of manuals, i only need to keep a single or a handful of copies of a unit instead of harboring every single unit i come across

I feel like i've "wasted" orbs but i must recognize the fact that this feature is new and i had no choice but to expand in the past, so really me saying it was a waste to expand doesn't hold too much weight

seeing all the free room i have now is definitely gonna mock me but at least we never need to expand again if we already have enough room

I had the same problem. I'm at 875 space. It's not that many orbs though. Less than 200.

I kinda feel cheated, but not too badly (then again, my barracks is ‘only’ 500.) I’m counting on the free space to be my buffer when I mass-summon in the future...that way, I can pull until I get what I want, and not have to stop every few rounds to free up room.

you people just have way too much going for you... I never expand barracks, I think it's a waste of orbs because I don't get that many and I don't want to spend that much money on just orbs because I always get rekt by RNG (last time I did instead of L!Lucina on last summon it was Azura... joy). So this is really helpful to F2P players who don't want to use up all their orbs on not summoning and a big punch to those who did expand a lot
on the bright side at least you don't have to worry about space that much anymore

im an f2p player btw, just been playing since day 1 so i had a larger potential for total orbs

either way i like the change considering that the pros pretty much outweigh the cons no matter how you look at it

I had been sending feedback to IS so that they could allow me to expand my barracks for orbs beyond the 1100 for months. What we got is 100 better.
I'm not worried about the orbs I spend to get there. Keeping 1100 heroes over others that only kept 300 to avoid expanding the barracks is a way better position to be in. The 160 orbs I used to keep those carefully chosen 800 extra units is way better than the random 40 those orbs would have gotten me. I might be missing on a few 5* because of it, but I can build most of the 3-4* pool into 5*+10 units, which is a better investment for the future IMHO.
