Should I even attempt Abysmal levels yet?

Like Jeebus, I can't even survive two turns. On any of them. These really are abysmal. I just want to ask, are any of my 5 star units even fit for the Abysmals yet? Or am I waisting my time? And for notice, Caeda is at +6, and Fae, Jaffar, Fjorm, and Marth are at +1.

You have multiple dancers, so that’s a good start. But you lack units like Reinhardt or Brave Lyn who are good for these maps due to their offense potential

I have Rein, he's in the second to last row. But I don't have B!Lyn. Mostly because she's training wheels and I don't need her. Plus there's my oh so blatant hate for her that it just compels me not to use her. Stupid reason to not use a good unit, I know but.... God I hate her Brave version with a passion.
And I get what you're saying, just cheese it with those two. But I'm not sure if that's really my thing. Cheesing feels way too cheap for my liking. Just a personal thing. (But if push comes to shove and I'm on the end of my rope, THEN I'll cheese)

OOOO, don't get me started on Brave Lyn 2.0h shit. Dazzling Peshkatz is the stupidest thing I think I've ever seen 😡
Just to show how much she's tormented my life already...

Caeda tends to have a hard time with heavily inflated PvE stats because she doesn't hit super hard and she doesn't tank well with def.

Maybe watch how some other people clear abyssal maps? You might get some ideas for what you might try yourself.

In all cases, I think it's worth trying even if you can't succeed because it will improve your ability in the game. You'll start succeeding at abyssal maps sooner if you fail more now.

Well, I helped her out with Def and Spd Ploy on her so she outspeeds and hits harder most times. I'm actually thinking of showcasing her tomorrow. But I get where your coming from.
I have been trying the Abysmals, I've survived 1 full turn with Lobins and 0 with Lector (0 turns as in after combat since the map officially starts after the first round). I'm trying different things and brainstorming but I'm asking this question since most of my units are unmerged and might not do as well as they normally do in a lower difficulty.

I find ploys hard to use in PvE especially when reinforcements are many. I also find that a lot of abyssal maps (or even infernal) tend to spawn reinforcements from all four corners, which means they're approaching diagonally, which means ploys won't hit.

Generally speaking, I'm seeking to develop an attitude in which it suffices that I play my best and learn about the game and grow in the game and also as a person through the game. Not many days ago I played some other game against someone who was better than me and beat me, and it felt worthwhile because I was only aiming to play a good game and not obssess over the result. I think it's a good way to approach abyssal maps. It doesn't clear out all the frustration because there's something principally wrong with the game when a 50+atk Nowi can't take down a sword with less than 30 res in two hits, but it does make the thing more bearable.

It is definitely possible to do it with unmerged units, although those vids usually use B!Lyn or Veronica and it probably took them hours to figure out a strat that works.

L!Robin's map did just come back, so they'll probably come back again with future legendary banners. It's worth trying them but I wouldn't stress too much if it's not working.

Idk why Seeker has a problem with your Caeda when she's probably your best unit because she's your summoner support and the only one you've merged. Mine did fine against abyssal Hector and she's only +4 no SS. But, the rest of the team had merges too.
