Should I build Chrom?

Ever since playing the game when it came out, I still have not gotten a regular Lucina, and I probably never will with my luck. However, I do have many copies of her father, 2 of which I unlocked potential to 5 star as Aether fodder and 1 5 star chrom I summoned. So should I just build Chrom if I cannot get Lucina? I currently have two good IV 5 star chroms (Atk+Res- and Def+Spd-), and I also have many other copies of chrom. The team I might use him with is Nowi, Fallen Robin, and maybe Fallen F Robin if I ever get her as well.

Chrom is actually a very good unit, especially now since he has a Falchion refinement (two in fact).

See my post (about four down the page from yours). That build, paired with M! Corrin (and his effect refined Yato) lets him achieve 59 atk and 64 defense (subtract four if he is entirely unmerged) when adjacent to Corrin. I wont be able to get around to it any time soon, but it would be neat to see.

Should I use the Def+ or Atk+ one?

Preference, honestly. I cant remember the Iv's of the one I was using for the stats. I would go with defense, just to make him extra sturdy (and to keep the reasonable resistance he can achieve with the Spectrum bonuses and Corrin's bonus), but extra points in Attack don't hurt either. Both are good IVs for him.

I'm actually a fan of chrom. Got a +spd -res. I like this IV actually. gave him both spectrum bond and sealed falc. with spectrum bond and Brave lucina +drive spd and hone spd from C!Lissa his speed reaches 46 spd. He doubles almost anything! tho positioning is still the key.

oh and my build is fury, desperation, thr spd and brash assault seal. you could change it to heavy blade if you want a fast aether proc.
