Should I 5+10 or 4+10 Joerge

I have a 5* copy of him from when he was summonable as a 5* already so I can pass down his prf weapon if I decided to go the 4*+10 route, and in total I can get him to +4 atm, so the question is, is it worth making him a 5*+10 or just go the cheaper route

I'd never 4*+ anything.

I mean not like I plan on using him in Arena since I already have a 5*+10 Quadsuna who can take down even some armored units

Why go for worse when you can have better? Never 4*+ anything

Seeing that a 4*+10 has what the same stats as a 5*+5 unit, and I'm not really rolling in feathers right now, and Quadsuna already fits the roll as my Arena Archer if I need one

The point of 4+10 vs 5+10 is about 200000 feathers which is the reason you'd choose to 4+10. It's equal to the stats of 5+5 so it's better if it's someone you'd never want to 5+10

Unless you have 20 copies at hand, don't 4*+10.

Edit: I see you making excuses for going for the 4*+10. If you're so convinced, do it then, you know your own situation better than us. We are just providing you with the advice you supposedly seek by asking the question.

The thing is they are just sayin to never 4*+10 units cuz it's a terrible idea, yah 5*+10 has better stats, but a lot of units can work perfectly fine as a 4*+10, Olivia does her job perfectly fine as a TA green baiter dancer (I've killed many Hector with her), Titania can still run triple Tactics as a 4*+10 and until G. Duel Cav comes out not too much of a point to 5*+10 her because her whole roll is Blue mage baiter and tactics support, I want more of a reason to spend an extra 200000 feathers on a unit other than "Never 4*+10 a unit"

Edit: Another perfect example of a unit that works just as fine as a 4*+10 is Reinhardt only needing 20k to transfer Dire Thunder on him for a very cheap 5*+5 Rein

I like him, I have made a very pricey build for him but he works fine.
The new fierce stance is great for him.

Most of the time Jeorge will survive one blow and then kill the opponent after, with his refine and quick riptose.
His A and seal are flexible depending on if you want safer baits, more (counter) damage or something inbetween.

I will not judge whenever you should go 4 or 5*. I'm too biased myself

This is what I did (though my acual Jeorge is still neutral)

I’ve done some 4*+10 that I later regretted (Olivia, Cherche), but I ended up with enough copies to change my mind anyway.

The guidance that 4*+10 = 5*+5 doesn’t always hold. You need to look at the specific character (some have -11 stats from the 5+ neutral), and you should take boon/bane into account.

Camilla (+Spd-HP) has -12 stats, so for her, 4*+10=5*+4. I’m inclined to promote the IV I want for 20k feathers and settle for a 5*+2 in her case.

Honestly kinda surprised at these comments, the topic of 4* vs 5* merge projects has been discussed to death. The only real risk with a 4* project nowadays is if a unit gets an amazing refine that works even better at 5*. Yep, suddenly regretting my 4*+10 Est.

However, in this case, we already know what Jeorge's weapon does. And tbh, I could see him going either way. The way I see it, 4* projects are usually something to whip out once in a while to fulfill a niche. Jeorge in this regard works fine as an EP ranged counter.

As a 5* however, he has more options. A +atk fully merged Jeorge could rock a brave bow, his defense is decent enough for a supported CC build, maybe even a special set built around AOE specials. Not to say this isn't possible on a 4* but it works better with the more stats he has to work with.

Sorry about the wall of text. It just depends on how much you wanna invest in him, really. I have a felicia I'm merging at 4* and she works fine as a mage check for AA. Yes, as a 5* project she can turn into an absolute nuke but I'm saving my feathers for other units, like Soleil.

No need to apologize about the wall of text this was what I was looking for, also about your Est couldn't you just 5* an Est and merge into the one you have to get her Prf weapon..... unless you are referring to B. Duel Flier coming from L.zura in which case yah that definitely sucks I'm going to feel the same way once G. Duel Cav comes out for my 4*+10 Titania, but at least the good thing about 3-4* poll units is that they are relatively somewhat easy to get as long as you snipe the color, I mean Sheena was the 3rd 5*+10 that I've finished completed after my 600 orbs trying to poll Adrift F.Corrin (rip my orbs cuz only got 1) and since then I've gotten 6 more and I was barely polling on green's

Edit: also yes Soleil a very great unit and my most recent 5*+10 unit who is doing wanders killing every single Surtr who bothers to block her path

I could but my only other Est is +atk and i wanna save her in case I decide to give her the 5* treatment, although not too sure since I already have shigure merged up. Lol yeah good point about the sniping, I got a couple more felicias going for Innes. Oof 600 orbs. That's rough. I only need 3 more merges for innes but I'm scared to go all in just because of that.

That is awesome to hear, I was going back and forth on her and lon'qu but this game has blessed me with so many copies I decided to go for it. Also doesn't hurt that she's adorable :)

Yah Soleil is just an amazing unit, last night I was running Arena with her and ran into a team of 3 +10 Surtr's, Soleil single handedly slaughtered all 3 of them with no problem

And yah it sucked that it took my 600 orbs just to get one copy of A.F.Corrin, F.Corrin is one of my favorite units and has been waiting for an alternative to come out either into the permanent poll or a L.Hero (wanted her to be a sword unit but I'm fine with what ever) and really wanted to get as many copies as I could so I could +10 her

I have a 4*+10 Jeorge bc i already have three archers im set on investing in as well as 3 bait units so i built him for fun

IF you dont really fancy jeorge and youve already got your arena core set up, then go ahead and 4*+10

i hate when people talk, "why 4+10 when you can 5+10?" like it doesnt cost 200,000 feathers
