Should heroes have leader abilities to help other units if in the first slot?

Should some units have leader abilities to help other units like
Marth-Boosts all units atk/spd/def/res 2x when near a ally
Lou'qu- Boosts all sword units spd by 4 when under attack
Xander- Each nohrian units gain +5 atk and def but -5 spd and res
Camus- Calvary units gain +4 atk/spd when making a attack
Arden- Enemies def reduced by spd/2
Hector- If a Cavalier, Infantry, and armored are on your team then the damage taken is reduced by 30% and 3+ atk during combat
E!Xander- Sping units gain 4+ atk/res/def/spd when they use a "carrot" or "egg" weapon
something like that

Interesting concept, but I would only be a fan of it for some units who are consistently overlooked, not so keen on giving it to tier 1 units like Hector.

I feel like if they only give leader skills for some units, IS will be buried in a deluge of complaints.

But, it would be a great idea to rebalance some of the lesser-used units in the game with excellent leader skills.

Well if that first part were true, people would demand refinements for units like Hector, Ayra, Reinhardt, the CYL units from last year as well as this year, and many others. But players understand that without the boost, they are extremely capable of doing their job. That has been the reason why none of the aforementioned have been subject to refinement. And I don’t think they would need a skill like this to increase their power since power creeping would force many more units into oblivion.

On the other hand, units like Lonqu, Odin, Henry, Laslow, and many others have been outclassed for a very long time, and a boost like this could bring them back to relevance.
