Shield Pulse on Reinhardt (WT)?

Much to my joy and amazement, I free summoned this guy on the banner he was on, but that was shattered by a +HP/-ATK IV. After seeing that IV, I thought about more defensive builds for him since he works kind of well as an EP unit and I need more of those. So I had an idea: put Shield Pulse on him.

Main question: what are you opinions of that?

He's got good defensive bulk and Pavise naturally, so if I gave him something like Steady Stance and Shield Pulse, he'd take very little damage from melee units (which includes dragons, helpfully). Then with a QR seal he can hit back in return. He won't hit very hard, but he will hit.

Actually, now that I think about it, that raises another question. If I were to put Shield Pulse on him, which stance skill would be better, Steady or Fierce Stance?

I remember once I saw a build for Karla that centered around Shield Pulse and Pavise, saying she often didn't need boosted specials to KO reliably. So even though you can't use Shield Pulse on Cav, the idea of Shield Pulse on offensive units isn't too crazy.

For the record though if you want to run an enemy phase QT!Rein, Brazen Atk/Def, Vantage, Bonfire, and QR Seal could could be an interesting build. Though I really don't think the -ATK IV makes a Player Phase Rein unusable or anything, so don't feel like you HAVE to run an Enemy Phase build just because he's -ATK
