Shield Pulse 3

Ive heard of Shield Pulse, Pavise Raven, but I don't know how he works and does with is set, maybe to reduce damage taken.

I would recommend anyone that you plan on using with a slaying weapon and Pavise/Aegis. Pavise for melee walls and Aegis for ranged.

The image below was more of a joke build, but it turned out to be a decent melee wall. So find anyone with mixed defenses and pull off a similar build.

This may be a wierd idea, but Alfonse! You can use Sacred Cowl with the deflect magic seal to safely get him below 80% HP to activate his Brazen Sword (and ideally another Brazen Atk/Def in his A slot) then he has a sure kill on whatever attacked him, has his Sacred Coal activated again (second hit of the mage, his hit in your phase) and got 50 Defense unbuffed (with +Def refinement, don't think the Tri Adept is worth it) to protect him from mellee threats.

I haven't tried this out since I dont have Shield Pulse, and don't have enough Dew yet to refine his sword, but I like the idea. Maybe you want to try it out.

Tanks anything and everything melee

There are many who can use it, however, there are a few builds I've noticed.

Lloyd works with the skill very well, but requires high investment to do so from what I've seen. Being magically bulky can let him use DC and Shield Pulse to take little damage from mages and retailiate with pretty good attack and speed.

Another I found was Azura.

This build is rather meant to survive Reinhardts, The combination to Shield Aegis and Deflect lets her take minimum damage from Reinhardts. Granted, it could be better, but this was actually an Azura I fought in Arena a long time ago.

And this one I came up with myself. It doesn't have to be Hawkeye specifically, but anyone with decent defense and/or resistance and low speed. Oboro can work for blue, and Laslow can work for red, just some examples for other candidates.

This is a supportive debuffer build. This unit can run in, attack anyone, and live to activate Seal Spd and Spd Smoke, then anyone with Wings of Mercy can swoop in and likely double at least one enemy, and then kill them. A great defensive team build that's smart, since everybody would usually just bait him in.

If you haven’t killed him yet, female Corrin. Shield Pulse + Sacred Cowl with +RES and she tanks almost everything
