Sheena and Grima...

So I've been building my Sheena for a while now and she currently sits at +6 with DC and she's been quite handy as a tank with easy merges. I also just pulled M Grima (-Atk/+Def, as another post just below stated he's still a monster). I'm pretty confident in saying I'll likely +10 my Sheena plus her gal-pals Cordelia (+8) and Eirika (at +0, but I have 8 4* copies) before I get more merges.

Ever since the X-mas banner I've wanted Vengeful Fighter for Sheena, but alas 200ish orbs got me nothing on that one. Basically I'm asking:

Is it unwise to fodder Grima, one of the most oppressive green units in the game, just to give Sheena, a formerly top-tier tank, Vengeful Fighter?

Yes, but first max Grima HM and then fodder VF to her.

In my case i sacrificed a W!Tharja and OG Hector to Sheena.
Now she can proc aether every round if she gets doubled.

Sounds good unless you want to keep him for arena assault whenever B.Lyn shows up.

It's not insane to give up your only copy, especially for a merge project. It's just a matter of under what circumstances.

B8

I mean as much as I would love optimal IVs Grima is just so powerful that even with his worst IVs he'd still outclass OG Hector.

Hell I have a decent IV OG (-Spd/+Hp) and a terrible IV (-Def/+Res) Present Hector and their stats are nigh identical with OG being slightly lower in Atk.

My gut says so, but I know I'll probably never use him. I haven't touched Hector (both Present and OG) for ages and most consider him better than Sheena, what'd make Grima any different?

I sacked my first grima for sheena

got him to 40, realized how much i hated his -def bane and gave sheena VF

no regrets, she is a perfect wall unless we're talking armorsmasher
