Alright so I've saved up a few questions so I can just monitor one thread. Don't feel like you have to answer all of them, but if you can it is appreciated.
1. I pulled a -Atk/+Res Faye and was wondering if it's still worth running DD9 build on her (I have a spare -Atk Micaiah).
2. I have a spare Exalted Chrom and would like to know if there is any unit that is absolutely dying to have Chill Def, or if I should just merge.
3. Same as #2 but regarding Brave Roy and Galeforce.
Don't know about 1. I think that firesweep inheritance might be a better thing to do here.
Chill def can easily be given to either firesweep/brave weapon users, one-shot melee nukes or support heroes. A good and available example would be Cherche.
Galeforce is not really a coveted skill by any means, but it's nice to have a spare one ready. Just keep it and maybe you'll find a use for it one day.
1. I don't know, it's difficult to justify using 5* fodder on a 5* exclusive with suboptimal IVs (+Res is very good, but -Atk hurts her, especially since she doesn't have that much attack to begin with).
I love using Guard Bow Faye, but mine is -Spd +Atk, and I didn't get these IVs until last LB actually. She's also +4 merged. I think you should wait or give DD3 (or Firesweep Bow) to someone else.
2. I recently taught Chill Def to Cherche. You could also give it to a dancer or some other support unit.
3. Maybe an armored unit with Bold Fighter. I have Effie with Slaying Lance + Galeforce + Bold Fighter.
1. Faye is hurt by -atk, yes, but she can still find a lot of success. If you plan to use Faye in the regular arena, -atk may actually help her avoid getting kills so you can feed them into your bonus unit. And +res is great for her, especially with the DD9 build.
Back when Faye was new, mine was also -atk and I found a lot of success with her thanks to abusing the heck out of the Firesweep Bow and a dancer. If you're curious, I have a write up of the build I used on my profile and why I used it. Even with an outdated, very suboptimal build, mine still kills lots of things in the meta and I still use her in AA runs against +10 whale teams. I just changed her seal to Poison Strike. (Aaa, I want to +10 her so bad and make her my Support again, but I haven't pulled any more copies of her...)
2. I would merge. E!Chrom is really good.
3. If you like B!Roy, merge him. Cordelia is a much more common source of Galeforce. Galeforce is a high SP skill, so it'll be useful for scoring, if nothing else. I'd put it on a unit that has high enough attack and killing power that they don't need the power boost from Aether. Pair it with a Heavy or Flashing Blade seal for lots of activations.
