Sending heroes home

Are there any heros that is really isn’t strong enough to building up while having no skill worthy of inheritance to send home? Since I hit the limit on how much heros I can have and don’t really want to expand.

So theoretically anyone CAN be viable. As far as units that you probably don't need to save though, off the top of my head I would say most healers for sure. Live to serve can be nice to give to other healers, but thats about it to get without the investment of 5*ing. Raigh and matthew also pop into my head as units I usually send home right away.

matthew gives hone spd 3 actually which is useful. est doesn't give much useful tho imo. i always expand though, it's much more wasteful to send home units. if you spend ~4 orbs per unit, and ~20orbs per 5 units, it's definitely worth preserving that investment for 1 extra orb rather than sending home these guys who could be useful later for a pittance of feathers

Units who offer little SI and are 3* I usually send home, that said my barracks are a cluster f-.

Merge all the worthless 4* like Raigh, Gauis, and other's with "meh" SI.

Anyone can be made viable with the right investment. But it depends on your desires. I usually only ever send certain 3* units home that have 0 SI value, any 4* with no SI viability gets merged, and units with valuable SI I can utilize immediately are fed to the units that will benefit from it, including 5* units. I always keep limited units, and the 3* units I keep are either possessing valuable SI or are future merge projects. My barracks have never exceeded 250 because of this method.
