Seliph build

The other day I pulled a 5 star Seliph so I tried to make him work (I saw that he is not a very popular unit in arena, like other characters like Arthur). So I made a build trying to maximize the passive of his sword and his high def. He is +Speed/-HP. I think is a bad IV for him because he has a really low speed already, so I was thinking +Def it would be better, but he is my only Seliph so I don't mind. What do you think?

Nice... Worthy of his old man. +SPD really isn't great but if it's what you got it's what you got. How is it working out in real combat?

He normally receives like 0 damage from axe units when he is below 50% of his health and he can tank sword units too. So he is quite tanky for not being a armor hero.

I think Swordbreaker has more use on him than Brash Assault, so I'd think about giving him that. And, even though it's pretty typical, Fury.

I have a 4 Star seliph who’s -res +atk and I’m trying to run this same build actually lol. Defiant skills are really underused but I ran defiant attack on my blade tome desperation bride ceada and I found that really useful, so if you get Seliph into brash assualt defiant defense range safely he should be able to become a super strong tank. -HP means you will get into the range for these skills to activate easier, downside being he won’t have as much HP when in that range to take advantage of all that extra defense so it’s a double edged sword but his defense will go crazy at that range and ignis will be ready by then so still it’s gonna be strong if you can get the ignis off

Seliph broke my pity rate a few months back and I was quite happy when I got him only to see his stats. I have tried to make him work but his stats are just too average and there are far better red infantry units. His dad Sigurd is out tomorrow, he has Divine Tyrfing and much better slots skills.
