Salvaging Zelgius' res?

I got pitybroken by a +res/-def zelgius and I was wondering if I could salvage his res. He has 24 res base.

Warding Breath- 28 res in enemy phase
Fortify armor- 34 res
Summoner Support- 36 res
Res seal- 39 res
ward armor- 43 res

or should I focus on capitalizing his other stats?

It's certainly an interesting build. I say to try it in a battle simulator first to see how well it goes.
