Listen guys and gals. I get the salt, it's expected. However, let's think logically for one second as we read this (if you so chose to do so and not just walk away right now cause of the salt intake)

First and foremost, we know you want your (insert) Legendary Hero. I wanted my own Hero as well (Robin!M, hell his Adaptive Bond skill is already ingame just not in use just like Alm's Fire Emblem was for a few motths) but we'll get them eventually. IS will make every protagonist one. It'd be asinine not to do so since they'll lose money, so keep that in mind. If you really want them, just be patient.

Second, for those wondering, why them but not me? Let's talk about a topic many, many people find annoying/hate.
Popularity.
FEH is a popularity based game. Their metric for what they should put ingame is popularity and sales. If the majority of the crowd pules Awakening/Fates and Genealogy, they'll keep doing those banners cause the fans love em, it's what they ask for in the large scale. And the popularity, well that's where CYL helps. FE6 has barely anybody above 150th place. SoV only had Kliff at 50 or something, the rest of them were way lower, and so on. Most of the things they put ingame, from the legendaries to other such units, come from their games overall popularity and sales. So looking at this from a standpoint that's logical, IS is going to pick the games that sell more for seasonals, and other such units, to incentivise and give the majority of players who entered the series through Awakening and or Fates, what they want. Since they are, by far, the majority.

And last but not least. Don't worry, we've all been this salty at something in a game at some point. Just remember, patience is a virtue. We're going to get the ones we want eventually, no doubt. We just have to wait it out and see what happens. I just hope that the fanbase doesn't drown in salt.

WHERE TF IS ALM

You can ask Valentia's Sales that sadly. The game is great, but not alot of people bought/played it. Either the art, the 3d models looked wonky, or the mechanics were too, weird for alot of players. So they're kinda going slow with Valentia from the looks of it.

I, honestly don't think so.

He's probably going to be a Colorless bow from my POV. The other thing that's confusing is that, with the skills in game from the last datamine, we have a Adaptive Damage skill, a guard skill, a nihil skill (FE7 I think) and nothing related to double Lion.

So either they'll reuse double Lion, or we're not getting alm for a fair bit, which if I'm honest, I don't like at all. Sure, he's not Ephraim or Marth, but I do like Alm more than Leif, Roy or Seliph, so I feel you XD

Yeah I know you're joking around. I'm just trying to find out where those skills we got from the last datamine fit, and where Alm fits inbetwen those.

If Robin seems to be the thing in the future from the current skills, then we can expect him after December (between January/March), and Alm should be, IMO, December, given that he's a bow unit and we have no colorless bows. It'd remove any weaknesses he may have and make him very strong versus all colors.

That being said, we'll have to wait and see what the banner post says tomorrow to see what heroes are showing up in January and February as to guess accurately who the hell we're getting.

I bought it when it came out over a year ago and I can't find the will to finish it. The game and plot are fine but the characters are all so damn flat due to the lack of supports, that's why it can't hold my interest.

Happy for Eirikia fans though and since the other units don't appeal to me much I get to save orbs this time.

Try to prove me wrong, cause i've got proof to back me up.

Example 1: Sanaki Dev made sure she was the FIRST tellius unit in the game, months ahead of anyone else, not only that but she was the first tellius unit to get a seasonal alt, as well as the first tellius unit to get a refine.

Example 2: Tiki Dev: Look at how much special treatment every incarnation of Tiki gets, first off both her seasonals are summer, one of them came with both a valor skill as well as close defense, while her second summer seasonal was fucking ridiculous and came with anti dragon, steady breath, and adaptive damage, while having double boosted bst, AND being a flying type, compeltley outclassing a "legendary" unit months after it was released.

Example 3: Lyn Dev: This one is completely self explanatory unless you have brain damage.

Example 4: Nephenee Dev: She straight up got special treatment over almost every single other refine in the game, being anti armor+steayd stance+slaying, as well as excellent stats all around, effectively giving her as much futureproofing he could get away with at the time.

Example 5: Celica Dev: What the fuck if up with her skills, she came with the first Uber skill, as well as a ridiculous doubling skill as a CYL unit, and shortly before that her tome which needed no refine at ALL got a fucking crazy one that lets her solo maps if she has a dancer and desperation to the point where its not even funny anymore.

That doesn't mean it's a DEV Experiment you nerd. This means theyre adding new skills to a gaccha game. It's how gacchas work XD

You're in denial, and thats fine, because eventually you'll notice all those little things that seem like coincidences arent actually coincidences. What the devs want > what the players want. This is why I don't buy orbs in-game anymore, I used to think this game was for the fans, but its not, its for the devs, by the devs, and the fans are allowed to play.

Think to yourself, if IS actually listened to players, why hasnt the arena been fixed in any capacity?
Why hasn't there been a proper PVP mode in any capacity?
Why hasn't there been a My Castle mode when its one of the the single most requested features?
Why haven't the biggest fan requests been added to the game, while other tedious shit has?

Because its not for the fans. Just like how fertilizer isnt meant for bombs, but can be sued in the production of bombs.

Personally, I'm not salty. Pretty happy I get to skip this banner hehe.

There is the issue that Eirika already has an alt. I assumed Lords with alts in the main summoning pool (Exalted Chrom & SM Eirika) were a reason for other Lords/Important Characters to be Legendary Heroes. It's also boring seeing the same faces all the time.

Ehh that's the problem though. All Lords and Protags will get Legendaries at some point in FEH's lifetime if it lasts that long (another year maybe?)

I'd get ready for M!Robin, Two Corrins (one for each gender), Xander, Celica, Roy, Eliwood, etc

Cause they're coming. IS wouldn't leave a way to make money (and make the fans of those characters happy) alone.

1. That everyone wants there own favourite unit to be a legendary one is obvious clearly. I'm happy that alteast people who like Eirika really much get something out of it so that's a +.
2. Units being picked out of popularity is understandable too. Alm is under Eirika so well. But that's not an excuse for just blatantly ignore certain characters because they are "not as popular" as others.
3. I'm playing FEH now since January and the only reason why I started it was because I could get Alm. I didn't had luck on the banner in march (had about 200 orbs back then as new player) and didn't got him. So I waited. Now it's nearly November and nothing came. I don't even want to know how people feel that like Saber really much.. That's why I personally think "being patient" isn't the best thing to say. I'm waiting now for nearly a year so I can get one unit to make me really enjoy the game. I'm not here to play the game for many more years just to get one unit once while other units get 4 alts out of nowhere. We should be loud and say "IS stop that shit and do something different". Just staying silent and wait till maybe something changes is really bad.

Oh trust me I get your point. Patience is not easy, especially when waiting. But as somebody who has played since the beginning, and has never been mega lucky unless I save up orbs like a maniac, I've grown patient, so I guess it's easier for me to say it.

That being said, the alt thing is going to happen. And all lords and lordettes will get Legendary Alts. Sadly, that's not something we can change unless Alm gets a huge fanbase and they all revolt, but I will say I do feel for you, no matter the way this stuff works.

Also, considering all the crazy banners we've had lately, this L!Banner's a bit of a breather. At least Alm fans & co. can start/continue saving for his hopefully soon arrival.

You could say I'm patient, I can't just ignore how certain characters are treated in this game. There are even units where banners came once or twice in the whole existence of the game and that's just not fair. Seeing L!Grima again on this banner only confirmed my "saltiness" about it. I'm not even really salty about the fact that Alm didn't got his legendary alt (what isn't that important), I'm more pissed about that he's (normal one) not on a banner again and characters that share this fate aren't on it either. IS has enough money to run the game for a long time without any help from Nintendo so why not giving some love to units who didn't received any in the last 2 years the game is out already?
I just can't understand and accept that.

Eirika has more votes than Alm.
So Alm has to wait his turn like Eirika did all these months.
