Salt-Free Question

So....so much salt regarding Lucina huh (seriously guys)?

Anyway, to get away from that, I have a build question regarding a -hp +res Zelgius.

I kinda want to do a unique build on him, since I have BK already with the typical set. I was thinking a brave sword, death blow, bold fighter and heavy blade. Would that work? Thanks in advance

Mmm...

The thing is that he'd only be at 50 attack (when initiating) unless he receives something like Hone Armor/Atk Tactic, so Heavy Blade won't really be activating 'too often' since 50 attack is, usually, the threshold people try to break.

For unique, give him wo dao(res)
Distant Counter + vengeful + distant def seal ;) (the c is flexible but I'd recommend atk smoke or armored effect of some sort)

I hate to bring legendary Lucina up, but if her c is inheritable, that would be great to give to one of zelgius's allies (and sorry for this high budget idea)

If you want to use him for arena, maybe Slaying Edge would work better than heavy blade (look at Krazytre's reasoning). If you're willing to invest, I think inheriting DC (a.k.a daddy hecc), / warding breath / Atk Res Bond would work. Or if you're looking for budget, brazen skills, perhaps. Bold or Vengeful for B...and distant def 3.

If it's for PvE content, well, I've even seen a Zelgius with a Firesweep. What could go wrong.

Bold Figher already gives+1 special cooldown, so why use Heavy Blade?

Anyway, Brave/Bold Zelgius is not original, he actually deletes 99% of the roster with that set-up. Just loses distant counter in the process.

You don't need to give him Brave Sword if you plan on giving him Bold Fighter. That'd be gimping him just for the sake of making him different.

With Bold Fighter he's already gonna kill anything he initiates on south of fully warded-up Effie and Hardin.

If you wanna be different, give him Armorsmasher and he can also kill those.

I used mine as an enemy phase unit for a while. Vengeful Fighter with Distant Def on the A slot and Seal slot. That's atypical too.
