Safeguard Arden (+Spd -Res Leen pitybreak)

SO what should I do with this garbage pitybreaker. Note that I already have her at +Spd -Hp. Should I merge or make a meme build by giving Safeguard to Arden so he can be STRONG AND TOUGH.

Btw yes i am salty about the pitybreaker, I really wanted ninian and Leen came home when there were no blues in the circle

Dancers don't really need merges so, Fodder her off.

Though in my case I'm gonna merge since I'll be using her in arena.

More defence is always welcome in my opinion.
With all that def and safeguard +def refined and some buffs he can tank even 60 def lances

I got pitybroken by a -atk +spd lens from the legendary banner at 11.50 pity break. (WHY).
Anyways, that is exactly what I did. I gave arden a +Def refined safeguard and steady breath. He now has a base 45 Def, and gets 56 Def upon enemy initiation. Yeah, he's really strong and tough now.
