Sad Excuse for a 5*

I Tried getting Celica.... Got a session with no Reds, Summoned a blue..... Got a 5* Clair..... Anything I can do with a neutral Clair?

I know your pain. Claire has ruined 3 bonuses for me. I wish she at least had Brave Lance+, but no she is even bad at being fodder.

The only thing I can think about is a better version of dragback for a Brave Axe Cherche (Which I don't have, and rather not, for I have Hector)

Her low attack really hurts her. I find her underwhelming even in flier emblem with access to buffs (I tried)

She is very good, she is one of the only blue units that can survive Reinhart if she is well-built.

She is similar to Lyn due to her very high speed but very low atk, however her focus on Res over Def, opens a lot of possibilities for her. She is like the counterpart of Subaki's high Def.

In brief, she has a lot of potential and can compete in the meta if you are able to optimize her.

I might craft her optimal build later and share it with you later if you like. Without the optimal set up she can't compete in the meta and it can even be hard in the campaign so don't be surprised.

Her optimal build would focus on special attack triggering, which can be her only saving grace, but I personally see no reason to invest in her. Just compare her to Catria, who is a balanced fighter with good enough res. If you need a reinhardt counter, you'll go for Camilla who has insane res under flier buffs and has much more favorable color for dealing with mages.

I'll be definitely glad though if someone can see at least some potential in her.

I have a 5*+1 Clair (+Atk tho), and I really like the idea of giving her Firesweep Lance+ down the line. She's quite expensive to get a good build, but Firesweep Lance+, LaD, Hit and Run, Moonbow/Luna. With one Hone Fliers, neutral Clair gets 52 attack/47 spd. She'll double without fear of retaliation and will kill a lot.
