Sacrificing hector - Should I do it?

So, I've had a OG Hector a long time, but ever since I pulled M!Grima, he's been completly useless for any team, let alone armor emblem.

Now I've gotten a Brave Ephraim, with much better stats and weapon, etc.

Do I fodder of DC from my OG Hector to B!Ephraim? I'm just unsure if it's worth it

Wait for L! Hector to get rerun on a Legendary Banner, he's a lot easier to get than original Hector at this point. I had an extra one and that's how I gave my B! Ephraim Distant Counter.

Also, don't forget that now we are getting "Grounds" maps in the Blessed Gardens. I had a water blessing on my og Hector and paired him with L! Ryoma. They helped out a lot on those maps, cause I had to use two teams of water blessed heroes.

And Squad Assault maps still come out too, so powerful heroes like Hector are always good to have for those. As well as the Grand Conquest maps too.

But seriously, they need to give us a damn Distant Counter seal already, I don't care if it has an HP threshold on it, just do it already IS. XDDD

DC seal is a bit excessive. I know it's a good skill and all, but that's the reason why it shouldn't be a seal. The number of units that'd get buffed because they can run both DC and SB/WB would be insane.

So I've had this dillemma for quite some time as well. You can check my account and see how many times I've asked the same question. I recently made my Sheena +10 and I really wanted to give her DC. I ended up doing it, sacrificing the OG Hector I got as my first legendary with perfect ivs (+def/-Spd). I actually did this a couple of days ago and still, no regrets. Sheena is a monster now. Your Ephraim will be too. You just gotta ask yourself: am I a collector or do I want as much strong units as possible? I am the latter.

And let's face it: OG Hector is powercreeped as fuck. With the IVs I had, he's basically neutral LAHector which I happen to have. And LAHector has better stats, not even mentioning Legendary Hector.
