Ryoma: Vantage or Desperation?

I pulled a Ryoma quite some time ago, well before Hero Fest 1. I didn't have the time to build him yet, but now my main team is finished, so I wanna build him. He is -Atk +Spd, not sure if this is good or bad. I already put Fury on him, so he has 50 Atk and 41 Spd (as seen in the screenshot). Since Raijinto + Fury + Vantage is a really devastating combo, I put Vantage on him, but I use him together with Brave Lucina. That means he will hit 47 Spd and 57 Atk (Rally Attack). So would Desperation be better? I could put Azura on this team to bring him out of danger area after combat, meaning he doesn't need Vantage; or I could leave Vantage on him and bait some units into their sure death.
Thanks in advance :)

I also have Ryoma with the same build, but mine has perfect IVs (+Spd, -Res). Vantage is more recommended over desperation because he is able to deal with both player and enemy phases. He needs vantage in order to attack mages that would otherwise kill him (he'll obviously kill greens, while some reds and blues have to be weakened to die on his counterattack).

Thanks for the advice, I thought Vantage wouldn't work as well because he's -Atk, but what you wrote makes sense. I think with a dancer, Desperation is better, but for now I'll stick with Vantage as I don't have infinite Shannas xD

I like Fury/Vantage on Ryoma because Lucina's better at the Desperation combo than he is. Desperation has no synergy with his Distant Counter while Vantage does.
