Ryoma stats are out!

Most of the extra BST goes to Speed and he trades 1 Res for 1 Def. That speed is kinda overkill for an enemy phase unit unless you plan to change his weapon for player phase.. They could have invested more in Def or Res at this point.

His defense is... lower than I was wanting it to be, actually, and that speed is fairly high... a bit too high, especially for a unit that has access to Flyer buffs, o.O
Was kinda wishing his resistance would've been higher so he can at least be a somewhat-good mage-tank. R.I.P that dream.
Overall, he doesn't look bad, but his defense is eh.

True, but his speed is insanely high. That's the 2nd highest speed stat in the game, tied with Lon'Qu and beaten by Mia, so that makes him have the highest speed of all flier units. o.O
I just wish he defense was a bit higher, but it's not like it's non-existent. At least not like his Res stat. ;D

Fortify Fliers is much more accessible than Hone and Ward, while not as easy as Goad, is now thanks to Shigure demotion also reasonably easy so it's possible for him to have quite respectable defenses. Especially is teamed with New Year's Miltank (two flying swords...) and/or Airzura whose weapons further add to it.
Teaming up with Kinshinoka would "only" boost attack and mobility, but it might be still interesting. Oh and Flower Sanaki could pull him around and boost defenses for both, but that doesn't stack with Fortify. Recent fliers are have quite the synergies!

But I don't have a NY!Camilla, or a HiBowka, or a B!Sanaki, lol.
I agree, his defenses could be increased thanks to Fortify Fliers (and Goad fliers), but the defense stat itself is lower than I was expecting it to be. Not saying it's a bad thing, his speed will ensure that he won't be doubled by anyone aside from Swordbreaker units, but I personally was wishing for a bit of a boost in defense.

Well, I only have Airzura and Flying Empress of the bunch myself but it was more like an example. ^_^
His Guidance skill kind of hints he should be used in mixed team but fliers seems more efficient to boost that enemy phase presence. I shouldn't get too excited though, it bodes ill for my chances at having him come home.

Sadly replacing his Raijinto for Firesweep Sword will be a better option for him. Running it Life and Death or Swift Sparrow, Bushido, and Heavy Blade, and he can proc 2 cooldown specials (Moonbow and Glimmer) and safely decimate enemies. Sad, really, since that would make the only reason to keep Raijinto is for Arena Score.

Haha, it really is an effective set to use. He'll be better that Elincia in that regard.
I'm curious. Will you be going for this build exactly if you pull him, or stick to his basic Raijinto? (I don't have any extra Soleil, so even if I wanted to, I'd probably stick to his default set for a while--provided that I even pull him. x.x)
