Ruby sword + or armor slayer +

Building Tobin for a bit now, wound up trying a lot of different skills like brash assualt and earth boost but I like the sword breaker fury build. Would Tobin benefit more from Armorslayer + or ruby sword + (he already has it inherited and learned)

He would benefit more from Ruby sword+, but is it really worth it? It's really expensive, but if you really want to, sure I guess?

I already have him with ruby sword + since I have him a 5 Star Hinata that I wasn’t gonna use, I forget whether I leveled that Hinata up myself or got him off a banner but he’s already gone

Long story short, if you keep his Armorslayer, you get free Arena Assault wins if you meet an Armor Team, though he needs a little bit of help with Effies.

The ruby Sword is an interesting option, since it lets him combat mages like Nino as well (and there will be Deirdres this arena season) thanks to his decent res. I say it depends on what you want him to do, I believe though you will find more armor units than green mages and he would be more effective as an Armor counter instead of a counter to green, of which there are many.

With such a bad atk/spd and kill potential in general, I would say an "effective against" weapon is almost mendatory to benefit an extra 50% atk on the said type, however, the high Def stats of the meta among armored units and common cavaliers make it unreliable.

Zanbato+ is probably the best bet for him, but either with Armorslayer or Zanbato, he may not be able to score an OHKO on the commonly seen units of these type.

Thus, Ruby sword+ remains a very good weapon for useless characters, in order to give them at least a used one of the side of the triangle.

Ok thanks. I like zanbato but sadly I have t been able to summon gray, closest I’ve gotten was a 4 Star mathilda and I haven’t been able to use her weapon yet
