Roy (Regular) IV Question

So with Roy's weapons refinement just around the corner I wanted to start working on him to be prepared for when it comes out.
My current Roy is 5 star + 2 merged with a +DEF - RES IV
I have a few different 4 star versions of
+SPD -DEF
+HP -RES
-SPD +RES
It's obvious that out of all the choices that plus SPD should be taken.
But I'm hesitant due to the fact that I would be jumping from a super boon of 30 DEF (including merge) then dropping down to a 22-23 DEF bane all for an increase in 3 SPD which could be remedied via a speed seal. But a SPD seal along with FURY could bolster him up to 41-42 with the SPD IV, but it compromises his bulk heavily and I'm just not sure.
What's your opinion and possible reccomendations?

i would say wait for what his refinement will do and see how this progresses.

As a fellow Roy enthusiast, you can never go wrong with -hp + spd

I built my roy to be fast and defensive, so -def and -res are both a no go. +spd is really good, but not at the cost of defense, I feel. Still if you're running fury you may not care much about defenses because he won't have much hp anyway. I say it's best to wait till you get a -hp roy and keep the IVs you have rn.
