This round of riVal domain

How are you guys doing and feeling on this rival domain. This time around I mean. Do you feel it would be more fun if they can make map even biggger? I know that means having to allow scrolling a bit.

I like them to expand it and allow some defensive stand themes.

Rival Domains never fails to make me feel stupid. I have now struggled to complete infernal 2 consecutive weeks (and have yet to beat it this week, although I really only started trying it today).

strategy: break bases using ranged units, and use fliers to bring them closer.

if all else fails, I hear autobattle is supposed to be good. I haven't tried it yet tho. Gonna go defeat Zephiel first and then try it

Might have to give it a go. Last round was about setting up a fortified group on the center square, using a flier squad to bait the fortress defenders away from the camp, and then slaughter the camp defenses and camp out while picking the enemy off.

also this dude manages to clear all of it in 1 turn. Not enough to get the rewards of course, but pretty cool to see.

Yeah, last week I was able to slowly overtake my opponent, and then stall them out to pass. This week it’s hard to not rush the fortress and claim it.

For this week, ignore the camp in the upper right; the trees make it too hard to navigate. I ignored the armored kill bonus too and just slowly made my way up the left. Try to capture the camps first, and kill the units second so they'll stop warping.

I like the maps a bit bigger myself, as well. I think week 2 is probably experiementing with shrinking the mode after week 1, trying to test players out.

Hopefully IS decides to keep expanding the maps.

I really want them to expand it much more and have huge battles.

Ultimately I like to have the battle incorporate 4 player squads from your friend lists and gI've reawrds also for using friend squads and not just your own.

Ooh, 4 person squads sounds like a great idea! As do the bonuses. There was a map back in FE7 - Hector, Lyn and Eliwood - called Cog of Destiny, if anyone remembers. Huuuuuuge map. Your safest bet eas to split into 4 squads there. One to the east, one to plug the north-central gap, one to the northeast to flank the enemy and one to protect your rear flank from reinforcements. If we ever got THAT map or one like it, I'd be in FEH heaven.

I also like to see rival domain not be always about defeating forts. I like them to mix it up with different type of genre. For example, I like to see defensive maps where your job is to hold position, escort theme where you have to get your main hero to the hotspot without getting killed. Retrieve and return as well. This way you have to change up your strategy and even units used.

This would be great too. Although my least favorite FE7 map was a hold position mission. You had to protect that little bugger Zephiel from the Black Fang assassins. And of course he grows up to be a tyrant. -__-

Hey Drizzy. Haven't tried it yet (too much work) but add me so you can use my Grima. I'd love to see them expand the map and I definitely think incentives for using your allies heroes is a great idea. Maybe something small like the daily quests to encourage team work and community building like Team Gamepress has been doing. :)

It was tough at first, but then I made it so my starting team was Bravehardt, Flyzura, and 5 armors(consisting of Hector, H!Henry, and Hardin at +10, a good W!Tharja, and I forget who the last one was)
Once I used that combo, the Armors to kill units, Bravehart to steal the forts.
