I'm running a -hp +spd Robin (M) and plan on +10ing him, problem is, he's stuck at +7 because I haven't pulled any robins lately. I've given him quick riposte for arena weight instead of a breaker, and wonder I should change concepts of build from triangle adept to close counter or something. For the close counter build, I would be hesitant to put blarowl yet as he might be getting a refine sometime soon. Any suggestions?
I'm actually having a similar dilemma in that I can't decide how I want to redo my F!Robin, because I feel like raven mages aren't that meta anymore. Owl tomes did seem like the best solution, but I didn't consider the possibility of a refine, that does throw a wrench in things. I did encounter this Robin yesterday in VG, if it helps.
That is kind of a problem. I've been hesitant to start merging my Odin to +10 and building him because I really don't know if he'll get a refine at any point in time, and I don't want to waste resources on building a unit just for that build to no longer be used because the refined weapon is, what I consider to be, better.
Raven + Triangle Adept is useful, but the only archer I encounter now-a-days is Brave Lyn, and maybe Halloween Jakob (although he's rare considering he's a seasonal), so I'm not entirely sure if that combo is really all that "helpful" for general use since most of the archers in the game aren't used that often.
