Road to tier 20... can I make it?

So this is my chance to make it back to tier 19 and not screw it up this time. I'm tier 18 at the moment and rank 640 in the tier. That was with my armor emblem team, and anyone who can help tell me if this is ok and can I make it to tier 20 using armor emblem? I can't do high merges because I'm F2P.

I also have a Lissa (+Spd -Def)but I don't want to get rid of armor march unless it would really help me. Also if I get Robin I will take off Effie then I'd add Lissa over Amelia. Do I stand a chance?

To make it into tier 20 with Armor Emblem, you only need a deathless run.
And if you already are t18, you know what you face in arena, so I won't be epiloguing too much on that.

But to STAY in tier 20... you need merges. Lots of merges.

Made it to tier 20 on a fluke once and immediately dropped back down to tier 18

Pretty much just try to do deathless. I heard also that SP expensive skills increase the points per fight so.... But you don't have to stay in tier20 in my opinion
right now i am like this: 19->20->19->20. You still get the 4orbs weekly fortunately so

Yes! You’ll get there with that team. But you won’t stay on tier 20.

What kind of scores are you getting for matches? To get to tier 20 you need around 4880(may be slightly higher and probably closer to 4900+ to be on the safe side), so around 698 or higher average per match.
One thing I noticed that can help your score is replacing the Tharja's c skill with something else(either a regular hone/fortify or one of the drive skills if you have one) will help improve your score slightly. Other than that as long as everything is full rank 3 on skills it is fine.
