Rival domains infernal help.

I just missed the point cut off a few times. I feel I have sufficient units to pull it off but haven’t managed to yet. What’s the best strategy for points? Get as many kills as possible, take their camp or take the main base?

He wasn’t asking for a general strategy.
He was asking how to get the easiest points.
The most important part of the challenge to get the easiest points anyway was to get those 20 kills and beat the fortress down. However you do it is up to you.

But ur literally just stating the obvious "kill 20 units" and the imposible (for him it seems) "beat their fortress". The first part benign enough but its the second part i have a problem with....

He just needs to take their camp and keep it while making sure to get kills from infantry units for the bonus.

I answered his question(what is the best way to get the most points? And whether it’s best to take the camp or protect the fortress) word for word.

He wasn’t asking how to position your units, what units are the best or even a general strategy. Yes! Obviously, that is very nice of a person if you decide to give em those. However, what if he wasn’t really looking for those kind of help and wanted to beat it with his own strategy?

Anyway, I think I answered the question without being mean or anything. It was just down to the point.

Bring a full infantry team and ignore the enemy base. So long as you get 20 kills with infantry to max out the bonus and take the enemy camp you don't need to get any points from attacking their fort to get the bonus.

Also remember you aren't penalized for losing units. Go pretty heavily on the offensive to take their camp, if you have a lot of units with reposition that can be good for saving squishies since a healer out there and ranged units are good for saving your units the time of coming back to the front line, and sniping out the camp so you can teleport units in to help hold it, but if someone goes down its not a big deal.

I was able to create an infantry wall on the defensive square in the middle that continuously killed everything that came its way, and then I sent fliers across the water to the enemy fortress to divert the enemy from the camp, allowing me to take and hold it. I passed the battle with 16 bonus kills, 20 counted overall, and holding the enemy camp by a very thin margin (1460 when the target was 1400).

Just trow a fully built nowi (from friends list) with aether and steady breath into the top left def tile on turn one. Thats usually a good start. Enough to at least capture their first camp and keep it to get ur points.

As you can see, I nearly got a perfect score (I defeated the enemy's Fortress on turn 8 instead of waiting to get the three more kills I needed like a dummy!) and I used a pretty nice strategy, I feel. Have a team of all fliers at your Fortress and all Infantry at your Camp. Luckily I had two friends with Pain+ Double Savage builds, one even was a CC Sakura. They did most of the killing. Fliers went straight for enemy Camp to have a nice 8v4. Had captured their Camp by the end of turn 3 with two deaths from my weaker fliers, but that just made room for my armored units to Warp from my Fortress to their Camp. By the end I only lost 5 unit's, and that was simply because I went full offense even attacking at triangle disadvantage.

If u want to clear it in one turn:

In general tho, bring a healer and many Aether users as well as DC units. Focus on breaking bases with ranged units, and use reposition to get characters ahead.

When I cleared Infernal, I merely took their camp and didn't quite take down the fortress. Managed to accumulate the rest of the points from the kills.

I get through first go every time, really simple, I play it like I used to play Blazing Blade on GBA.

Load up with the bonus/special units. Hit the bases they don’t spawn first and then move as a large unit/group. If there is multiple outlets to hit your bases take them 1 at a time, leaving a couple of units to block the pathway to your base. Smash those bases whilst dropping the enemy on the way.

It’s not important to grab the final base so long as you don’t let the enemy hit your base at all.

Make sure you’ve got pretty much all bonus units and you hit the 20 bonus. So long as you protect your bases and hit 20 bonus it’s almost impossible to not pass.
