RIP T19 > T20

I think I made a score of 698, 698, 702x3 and I still don'y make it somehow. Coukd've sworn I made Tier 20 last week with something like 695-696x5...

Yeah, I don't even know if it's really worth it anymore. Doesn't help I am basically forced to use characters who even aren't my main team just to gain some extra score. What's the point of competetive value when you're not even using your main characters? And selling myself to a lame dragon team is the least of my ideas.

That's funny, because I've been thinking the same thing for... quite a long time actually. xD

Oh well, I'm still having fun building up my units. Who knows, maybe IS will change up Arena after a little bit of time passes once they realize how much of a mistake it was to make it the way it is now. :P

What do you mean, specifically? My beef is mostly related to having to "sell" myself to characters I barely even use, over my main and better-built ones (Charlotte, New Henry; let alone characters like Katarina, Sothe and Sonya). Can't even bring a dancer because of that. With those nukes and a dancer I'd just wipe through it...but then BST just matters more, apparently.

Arena has always seemed to prioritize "High BST" over everything else, that's why everyone and their grandmother invested in Dragon Emblem and Armor Emblem. They required hardly any thought and had high enough BST to get to, and stay, in Tier 20 (depending on build/merges). While you could possibly get to, and stay, in Tier 20 with units you like (provided they had enough merges) it still prioritized BST. So if you used a unit like Odin, then you probably wouldn't score as high as someone else.

In that case, I do feel Arena is skewed in favour of certain unit types. That's kind of lame, considering BST alone doesn't fully consider a character's "level" (how good they are.

I tend to face +7s and above consistently, and my characters can still beat them. Hell, I'd do a lot better with the nukes I mentioned and a dancer.

You can easily make a dancer in Olivia worth more points than your Black Knight, which is +2 I'm guessing.

Olivia 5 star +10 (+spd -hp, +atk -hp or neutral which everyone has had access too...)
Slaying Edge+ Spd Refine
Dance
Galeforce
Fury 3
Wings of Mercy 3
Drive Speed 2
Drive Attack 2

She's worth 734 Arena Points. a +2 Black Knight with maxed out sp skills ignoring Distant Counter (lets use Steady Breath instead) is only 714.

Everyone can make the Olivia above, especially with all the feathers we get these days.

If you bring a dancer don't use reposition, use dual rally skills. You've already got easy mode activated with a dancer.... dancer + 3 characters with dual rallies > 4 characters with repo/swap/drawback for points most likely.

Get into tier 20 is getting more and more difficult and with only a 5 streak needed nowadays.

This is basically what I do, but I won't deny that I don't like how Arena makes BST such a big deal. I wish they'd re-work the whole Arena system, but that might make a lot of people mad.

"I spent 'x' amount of months building the perfect 'x' Emblem team just for BST to no longer matter?!"

Yeah, my dream is nothing more than a dream. xD

As cool as Black Knight is, merges is the most important factor in arena score, and taking into account how limited his merges are, you might want to replace him. With enought merges, even Olivia would score more, and you'd have your desired dancer.
Also, you should try to use 5* if posible, so upgrading Anna can be a good idea (and replacing Florina too).
And another thing: it's earth season and you're using L!Robin, yet none of your heroes has an earth blessing. That's such a WASTE. Blessings boost score in a fair amount, so you should try to take advantage of that.

My score is 3532 and I’m barely going to make it into tier 20, by the time it finishes I actually might get bumper down. My scores range from 702-712. Anything less that that likely won’t cut it.
