RIP: Defensive/Resistance tanks

It's a great banner for fodderphilics in general including myself, and we're definitely looking at less than 100 orbs a focus unit so it's not whales only. But I'm suspicious about how good this offer is so I'm going to wait as long as I can.

Also, I still might try to grab a null follow-up before Adrift expires because I think the skill has that much potential.

As for adaptive damage, I really don't think this new A-skill is going to do that much to the meta. It has a stringent requirement (not just adjacent to an ally, but to a mage), you're giving up what could be more bulk, more atk, or if you're melee, a lot more special charges. For it to make enough of a difference to justify, I think there needs to be at least 10 points difference between the def and res of your target. Meanwhile you still need to concern yourself about how hard they're going to hit back.

I would say good fodder, but not god tier. Surtr yes because no condition Guard A slot with +8 def. While Ylgr has more fodder, the fodder she has isn't amazing. So it's like half and half.
