I'll be honest, I've started unfriending people if they turn up on my team with a unit the same color as the VG unit. If they don't have the courtesy to switch their lead units during a voting gauntlet, I didn't want them on my friends list anyway. (I'd add you but I'm on Team Tharja so it probably wouldn't help lol.)

At least I thought ahead once Priscilla went down. Otherwise, my new allies would have an Ayra on their side. She may be capable, but who wants another of the same color, right?

Oh, exactly. I felt really bad, my lead unit before the VG started was Lucina and I forgot to switch her until several hours into the first round. Hopefully my friends forgave me once I swapped her for my monster Fae. ;)

While I generally agree with this, I don't mind an Eirika on team Tharja that much. But I'd probably be happier with my lead P!Azura.

What I don't get is when I see units below level 40 or with incomplete builds. In particular I don't want to see empty A and support slots.

I mean, obviously it's up to you, if your friend is putting up a unit that you don't mind having, then keep them. It's not personal when I unfriend people, it's just about trying to keep my VG teams appropriately diverse.

The friends I've kept all seem to have pretty strong units with complete builds, but I've been getting a lot of third teammates with units that aren't fully-leveled, which I don't really get. *shrug*

Seems I simply don't really have many friends on team Tharja, since I keep getting garbage units even though my friends list was just full before my latest purge. Now I lost on a 4.5x multiplier because my only Reinhardt bait was an underleveled Titania and they had an Alphonse with a dancer. Then I misclicked quit instead of continue. :(

I'll add you if you want. Leader is currently my weird Ninian but I can swap to a Dierdre if you want. I am on team Tharja though...

Currently have my Bridelia as my leader. And I know how you feel. That moment when you get all reds, and your opponents have 2 Reinhardt. Luckily, my Sigurd runs DC and Crusaders Ward, so he can survive even the strongest Reinhardt and counter kill him with Bonfire. The second Reinhardt was killed by Ayra
