Reworking Tempest Trials, GHB Suggestions

1. With the newest Tempest Trials releasing later today(it's the 26th for me), I'm thinking that IS needs to rework it. I can only imagine some of us really wanting all the rewards though sometimes it's almost next to impossible especially if you don't have the luck in drawing one of the 40% bonus units. If TT is to be redone, I'd say the changes needed are a more manageable stamina usage(good for those who are low on potions) and making the 20% into at least 25%(to make using the non-40% units a little more tolerable).

2. From what I heard, it seems we'll be getting Lloyd again for a Grand Hero Battle(finally I can get that damn ? block undone since he's the only one I have never seen having started late in September). If I could make a suggestion for a GHB, it'd be Lyon from Sacred Stones and Ashnard from Path of Radiance(despite having never played their home games). Here are the 5-star LV.40 stats for them and their suggested typing.

Ashnard: Mad King of Daein - Sword Flier - HP: 48, Atk: 50, Spd: 14, Def: 30, Res: 28 -BST: 170 No assist, Bonfire, Gurgurant(has Renewal 2 built in)
B-Skill: Mad King's Pact - Weapon advantages are reversed for unit(not inheritable)
C-Skill: Hone Fliers

Lyon: Prince of Grado - Green Infantry Mage(to match Eirika's Red and Ephraim's Blue) - HP: 34, Atk: 38, Spd: 25, Def: 28, Res: 30 - BST: 155 Rally Atk(has Atk/Spd in 4-star), No special, Naglfar(has Vantage 2 built into it, though I wanted to avoid making it like Bruno's weapon)

A-Skill: Close Counter(we really need more of this skill, and who more deserving than him)
B-Skill: Dark Stone - When unit is attacked, all bonuses are negated(almost like the effect Keen Wolf tomes have). Unit takes 3 damage after combat.

Honest opinions are appreciated and Merry Christmas to all!

Well i completely agree for the TT thing. I wasn't lucky during the Celica TT and so i had to rely only on 20% Units like Clive. As for the GBH i gotta say one thing: Mad King's Pact seems a little too strong. If they where negated it would have been much better. As for Lyon i don't think that IS will make him a green mage since in SS Lyon was adept in dark magic. So he'll probably be Red Infantry Mage. As for Naglfar's effect, Sol Katti already has it

Lemme rework Ashnard's B-skill and Lyon's weapon.

Ashnard would still suffer from fighting same-type units that hit just as hard as him and with the prevalent appearances of new green units like Winter Lissa along with the ever present Hector and Amelia, The Mad King is still going to have a hard time.

Reason why Lyon is a green mage is to symbolize his relationship with Eirika and Ephraim. Also look at Halloween Henry, he's a green mage(albeit an armored one) and he has the Mark of Grima on the coffin shield.

Well for Ashnard i can see that he might be in trouble. For Lyon as i said he uses dark magic. If you look at H!Henry he uses wind magic, a thing that a dark mage can do in Awakening. But Lyon's class, the Necromancer, uses exclusively dark magic (aside from healing staffs) so that makes it harder to see Lyon as a Green Mage

While it probably wouldn't count he's a Sorcerer in Awakening as a SpotPass unit and is able to use Wind Tomes then, but I guess you might be right. Out of all the tome units, Red is lower in count compared to the others.

Is this a tempest post or a ghb one?

I love tempest I consider it easily the best aspect of the game. Yes it's grindy af but thats how you make content in these games. I love that i can build up non meta units that are capable of auto battling so I can just use the "op" ones for two lunatic runs a day.

Without tt I would never have maxed hm on units like azama, lissa, lucius etc.

Only change I want is that this one should be a mini. No new unit=7 day tt for me.
