Revenge of skill fodder

I couldn't resist anymore and summoned a bit on this new banner and among other heroes I got my 2nd flying Olivia.

The thing here is, that I (reluctantly) killed my only Fallen Celica a couple of days ago for chill spd for Soren, because I didn't want to sacrifice the only flying Olivia that I had and didn't really feel like trying to summon another one on her banner. Even though Celica wasn't my strongest infantry sword, I still liked her a lot, because she had the whole "being possesed" thing going on.

Now that I got the second Olivia, I feel kind of bad for killing Celica.
Do you also have any fodder revenge experiences like this?

Yep, I killed my only W!Robin for Brazen Atk/Spd for Bridal Lyn. Until Linus was Released as a GHB. My W!Robin was +Def/-Hp as well...
I really flipped out at the fact that he was my only W!Robin and we got more Brazen Atk/Spd fodder.

Damn, that's pretty rough when it's a good seasonal unit like Robin.

I also wonder what expensive skill is going to be on the next GHB unit. We got some pretty rare skills from the last ones (brazen def/res and atk/spd, water breath, fortify dragons, chill def). I'm actually expecting atk/spd bond so that I'll feel horrible for foddering bow Hinoka as well.

No not really. Even if I foddered my first Fallen Celica to the wrong unit (Summer Gaius before Wind's Brand was announced), I have no regrets. I can use Summer Gaius in some situations (even soloing GHBs).

I foddered off Aether and Drive Speed from Brave Lucina for Nowi when I forgot I had a 5 star Chrom and Tailtiu is available at 4 stars. I got two more to remind me that I could've saved it. I am really bummed out about it.

That sucks man. At least you got a 2nd Olivia to consider merging or foddering later on. I didn't get any of the YT Awakening units but I didn't pull much either on that banner even though I really wanted all of them 😩 (I used my saved up orbs for extra copies of Ishtar on the LB)

Well my biggest regrets with foddering was made early on last year when I pulled 3 Minervas in a full wheel and I didn't understand the concept of merging (or ivs so those weren't even checked) so I just saw them as extra copies.. I foddered one copy to a 4* Tharja I had built up... and another to a 4* Cherche.. for Life and Death 3.. both of those 4*s became 4* +10s later.. but what a waste of Minerva merges.. only that Tharja uses LnD but both her and Cherche have been benched for a while now

Another sort of similar mistake after understanding merging.. was merging copies at lvl 1. I had merged a reg Ike to +1 and 5* reg Chrom at +2 but they were still at lvl 1 and just sitting in my barracks for a long time. After getting a legendary Ike at his first appearance and having Brave Ike, I didn't feel the need to build him. And reg Chrom wasn't that interesting to me as Exalt Chrom. Later on when I finished my adult Tiki and Catria merge projects (at different times) I needed Aether.. I then realized I could've had FIVE Aether fodders from that +1 Ike and +2 Chrom but instead only have TWO copies left (at least enough for Tiki and Catria)... I kicked myself so hard as I watched all those merges vanish into only 2 Aether skills
