Rerolling to Convince Myself Not to Buy Orbs... *with my results*

I really want Ike, but I've heard the horror stories from people who already tried to summon Ike on the banner just to end up wasting their orbs.

So I want to make some temporary accounts to reroll on just so I can show myself what WILL happen when I cave in later this week and buy orbs.

I have my current account connected to My Nintendo so that means I can always redownload the game and sign back in right?

Edit:
I was able to sign back into my real account.
I only rerolled twice, using around 35 orbs on both accounts.
On the first account I summoned 2 bad IV Ikes within the first 20 orbs, and afterward I didnt summon any more 5*.
The second account only summoned a 5* Saber.

Red unit orbs appear to be the rarest summon color, with Blue and Colorless orbs appearing by far the most.

to my knowledge yes, that's what it means to nintendo link so you can save your data (they also gave you 10 orbs for doing it idk if they still do) and if it means much I scored my second Ike (i had one by raw luck randomly before) after about 30-35 orbs into the banner. the problem is that my old Ike was +def/-atk, and now i have a +res/-atk one now.

you are very likely to get an Ike imo depending on the orbs you put in and snipe only red orbs, but there is o guarantee of a good iv set.

Thanks for the help

my biggest fear is that I wont even see enough red orbs to get a good chance of summoning Ike.
I did the free summon and I spare orbs 3 different times trying to just find any red unit orbs.
I only found 1 red orb out of all 4 attempts ;-;

sad life is sad.

That sounds like my Delthea issue on my first account. I would summon, just to see myself pull everything, BUT blue orbs. When I wanted Lucina, I had multiple sessions all only blue orbs, and now when I want blue orbs, I get more sessions with zero blue orbs than any single session with AT LEAST one blue orb. At some point, I made a second account, because I rerolled during the first HeroFest, and that account has been having much better luck, even though my first account had the perfect Quadelia (archer).

Alternatively, you could just torture yourself with the Summon Simulator. It's what I usually do... I like how it shows the insane loads of money I'd need to use in order to land a desired unit.

the first dumb account I made summoned 2 Ikes with the first 20 orbs lol

I'm sure they want to lure me into a false sense of hope so that I spend money on my real account.

Back when the Ylissean banner first launched, I did full summons on the Simulator only for it to throw back 4 Robins within the space of 6 attempts.
I can only wish I managed to have that kind of luck IRL.

In the end it's all luck. When Ike was first released, I managed to get 3 of them, including a +atk/-hp one (without buying orbs). But of course some people could summon a ton and not get him.
But if you want to get Ike, this Hero Fest banner is definitely the time to try to get him with the increased chance.
Also, if you make a new account and get Ike on that account, if you then summon on your main account and don't get him won't it feel like you wasted your luck on that alt account?
In my opinion you should just go for it if you want him. Tempest Trials will let you get more orbs too for more attempts. Just only pull red orbs so you dont get a ninian/julia/genny and make the focus 5* chance 3% again.

That's actually not true. Red orbs have the highest chances of being summoned, due to the overwhelming amount of red units that are in the roster of heroes right now. All heroes have an equal chance of being summoned, besides the focus heroes, that get a slightly better chance. 3% for a non focus, so 3 divided by all 5* units besides focus. 3% for a focus, so 3 divided by amount of focus units in the banner.

Red orbs don't have a higher chance of being summoned, despite there being more red 5 star possibilities. It's not like they increase the chance for each unit of that color. Let's say there was only 1 colorless 5 star character available, that's not stopping it from being 5 colorless crystals. Completely equal random chance for all types.

Nope.

Let's say there was one colorless five star hero as you said and four red ones. Since the chance of each non-focus five star is equal, the total chance of getting a red one is four times larger.

It would have been fun if you got a sh*t load of Ikes on your test accounts but then none of your main xD

I'd be sorry for you tho... although it happens to me all the time, I got super Lucky with 1 alm and 2 hector in my first summons when I started the game, and now I've to use a lot of orbs to get any five star units, especially the ones I want. Feelssosoman
