Reliability of Ploys

Not the question of how much res, but predicting enemy movement. I haven't used ploys much myself - panicked a horse or a blade tome here and there, but one reason I haven't taken much to ploys is because they seem hard to use. How hard is it actually?

Depends on the unit, I dont like them on units that lack mobility(armour's and some infantry) but on a unit like camilla, and a unit like H!Sakura, you'll do fine depending on the map, with mobility skills you just have to start off in a cardinal direction, so you can rearrange the units, TLDR, easy once you learn

Ploys are like spurs, take a bit of practice but are powerful in the right hands. I’ve had plenty of practice with ploys thanks to Arvis, so I’d say they’re not that bad to proc, but that’s with months of experience under my belt. All it takes is time, but with time, they’ll become some of your most valuable assets on the battlefield.

Spurs feel easy to calculate the tactics for - I don't need my opponents to walk into them. Ploys activate after their move, not during my control, so it feels more difficult.

True, but the AI have a pattern, so you can predict after some pratice.

If you learn how the enemy AI moves, you will have a big advantage on the game, not only with ploys.
And you can always use more than 1 unit with ploys, the same ploys will not stack, but you will have big range.

Like a lot of playstyles ya get used to it. Like with Threatens I eventually started ploying unintentionally.

If you dont like ploys is cause you dont have/use a Gunnthra.
