Red Infantry merge project

I am having trouble deciding who my red merge project should be. I have Nowi and Sheena at +9, so I'm looking to round out the trio of all-arounders/tanks. This would be part of my arena core but also PvE stuff.
Caeda so I can always run tactics. Good prf that I already have refined.
Masked Marth because of all the dragons running around. Already have at +2 but have the normal pile of 4* copies. Also good combat medic for stuff like Arena (keep the bonus unit going).
Soleil because of her great statline and versatility (armorsmasher, FS, Slaying). Only have 7 copies currently, none 5*.
Joshua because of his good mixed defenses. Hopefully Audhulma will get a refine. Also nice to not have to summon for additional copies (just work and wait in AR).
Eirika because she's a good buffbot for stuff like Arena but her refine makes her a potent force as well. She already has Speed Tactic.
Adult Tiki because she's already built at +2 with lightning breath, steady breath, qr, aether. I just find her speed to be so low it leaves her vulnerable and have a weak PP.
Black Knight is an option but his resistance makes him vulnerable...

I have all the usual fodder available (including breaths, brazens, swift sparrow, DC, guard, etc.).

What is your opinion? Or another way, what was your choice for yourself?

My choice was marth (not masked) because of his buffing potential, to help my bonus unit.

But this was a long time ago. From the units you mentioned, probably Caeda, because she can get 170 BST with a duel skill, and she is a very good unit as well. The other units are good too.

for arena core, you should look for Mcorn and ogMarth for easy bonus kill.

for general purpose, I'd suggest soleil, she is one of the best swordsman in the non 5*pool.
if you can spend dew, then lonqu is also a good swordsman.

Caeda is not a bad unit but I'm not quite convinced about her being better than Soleil and Eirika due to having to choose between shaky def and shaky atk; also you're stuck with a cavalry-effective weapon which actually can be a disadvantage if you're trying to galeforce people in AR because of OHKO potential, and there's always issues with arrows.

M.Marth is ok but again not as flexible in combat as Eirika or Soleil because of somewhat weak defenses, res especially. Doing pretty well with full merges and bond Falchion but nowhere near as well as Eirika if both are well supported. In exchange, yes there's Falchion healing.

Joshua and BK I recommend against. GHB fodder is too good to use grails like this. But to your taste.

A.Tiki maybe you could re-evaluate. If you want player phase, it's doable. All she needs is the prf refine, some atk-boosting A-skill (she does have alternatives if she wants to dual phase such as steady stance 4 + QR seal), and glimmer. Her atk can go into the upper 60s if not into the 70s, so with a glimmer and hitting res (or adaptive damage vs ranged) it's quite lethal.

Soleil vs Eirika is the hard choice. Soleil is more independent and a bit squishier; Eirika is definitely buff-reliant but she has a higher ceiling, with potential to play like a fully-buffed, fully merged 181BST unit by receiving tactics buffs twice. I do not exaggerate: at +10 on +atk -HP, she can achieve 62 atk, 51 spd, 42 def, and 44 res before in-combat boosts including anything from her A-skill or seal. You can use DC + spiral + aether + atk smoke + flashing blade in reinforcement hell maps, and against player-built units maybe something like null follow-up or null dazzle/firesweep (something the dataminers found which isn't released yet). By comparison, Soleil with +spd -HP also buffed with four tactics gets to 62 atk, 48 spd, 38 def, and 34 res before weapon refine (which could equalize her with Eirika's 51 spd if necessary). Also, don't forget that Soleil may herself get a prf someday. Probably not soon because she's doing perfectly fine and to the best of my knowledge she's not iconic in the franchise, but someday definitely a maybe.
