Recommendations for Distant Defence units?

So yeah, am thinking of passing the skill to someone, but I have no idea who could make good use of it, I've seen that Xander is a solid choice for it, but I would like to ask for more options.

You can put DD on mage killers such as Felicia or Niles, if you're willing to invest in them. It's not rlly recommended to put them on DC sword lords since they want the stat boosting skills like Fury (except Xander cuz he's more enemy phased). Put them on units that are good at baiting physical or magical attacks.

Depends on what units you have. I put distant defense on my ryoma

I think Julia since her weapon already grants +2 Def/Res? I didn't try that though
