Rebuilding Lancina

So my first Lancina was +def -hp. I really liked how tanky she was, but she ended up seeing most of her use as a support unit with only occasional forays into attacking. I'd had dreams, though, of giving her Steady Breath and turning her into a blue Brave Ike, but I would've had to pull an extra Brave Ike for that.

I've now pulled two new Lancinas, neutral and +spd -res. With the +spd one I could presumably turn her into a real offensive powerhouse, give her Fury and merge the +def one into her and she'd end up with 53 attack and 43 speed. Am I on the right track here? Maybe that's a silly question, but if I do this it's not like I can get the +def one back, so I want to be extra sure.

Yeah its lost till you pull another but +def is good if you build on it especially since shes excellent support i paired her with my ayra who has rally spd/def paired with drive spd and def so she gets +8 def and spd if there adjacent

You have the right idea here. With a +Spd nature B!Lucina can turn into a real monster with some SI. Really the only drawback with this is the fact that her weapon is best suited for her in a support role. I ended up with a +Atk/-Res one during the CYL banner and decided to just use her primarily as a support unit running the Furynewal combo and even so she still hits like a truck. being able to have her provide healer support is also a plus.

+SPD IV benefits her defensively as well, since she would get double less. So I'd say go for it.

I've found she benefits well from the +Def seal, so if you had the seal to spare choose +spd as the IV and add the seal to cover the defensive boon lost. She'll be incredible either way. My two cents.
