IS really knows how to bait me in

I was saving orbs for well... I don't even know for what. I wanted more merges on L!Ike (which is a pain in the ass with the b8% banners) and Alm but somehow feel bad for my +5 Eirika that would inevitably be left behind. So I dunno, long story short: I had 177 orbs saved by now.
Then this morning I noticed that I didn't get my free summon on the BHB banner yet, so I redeemed that one and wth! I got a (good IV) Amelia!
This really came unexpected, as she is a focus unit in the movement banner atm. I was really happy and merged her into my +0 version.
Then I thought "Why not change Raven out for Amelia? He doesn't perform as I had hoped to in my current Team anyways." But I didn't really want to spend my saved orbs. I "decided" not to spend my orbs just now and started playing gw2 with FE8 music in the background. Man... the nostalgia really kicked in after an hour and I ran some summoning simulations on this page to see how many Amelia's I'd potentially get *if* I pulled for her.
Then I tried out my new team idea and it worked pretty well. Also, I saw a post here about Amelia with Vengeful Fighter and Aether, which reminded me that W!Tharja might win the A Hero Rises event! Since my current Amelia is +Atk -Res and only has QR2 on her this really sounded great!
So... as you already guessed.. I spent all my orbs on the movement banner. I can't say that I'm not happy with my haul (2 more Amelias, 1 Tana with pretty good IV's - whom my Myrrh will probably still inherit Guidance from, 1 Abel - Ugh and 2 more 4* Effies for me to upgrade and merge), but man... no orbs yet again and a 4% pity rate on the banner after having no more orbs left....

So yeah, all I really want to say is that I think the free summons really have a better chance of giving out a 5* to bait you in to spend orbs on that banner (even though I got something off-focus).

EDIT: Forgot to mention that I also got a random off-focus B!Ike lol
